The mod settings menu

Njordlinger's mods keep their settings in the Apocrypha Menu Framework (AMF), a settings menu that works the same with a controller as with a mouse. It reads whichever you touched last: press a key or move the mouse for keyboard use, touch the controller for controller use.

The window can be moved and resized, and remembers where you left it. Text boxes take the on-screen keyboard (see Controls).

Some mods still use SkyUI's Mod Configuration Menu (MCM) instead; those settings are where SkyUI always puts them.

TODO: say which of the two the pause menu's Mod Configuration row opens, and where the other one is reached.

Mods with a page in the menu

These mods' SKSE plugins use the menu framework's interface, found automatically each time the site is built:

TODO: check this list against the pages a player actually sees in the menu, and remove any mod that only mentions the framework.

Settings worth knowing

Which settings can be changed at any time, and which need a new game, is on the safe to change page.

TODO: the handful of settings a player is most likely to want, each with the menu page it is on and what the list sets it to. Suggested candidates, for the author to accept or drop:

Game settings

The list ships its own Skyrim.ini, SkyrimPrefs.ini and SkyrimCustom.ini in the profile; Mod Organizer 2 uses those instead of the ones in your Documents folder.

TODO: whether players should change graphics settings in the game's launcher, in BethINI, or not at all, and the settings for upscaling (the list carries OptiScaler) if any.
